Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. Who we are

The Fraction Collective operates the website at https://thefractioncollective.com/. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Fraction Collective, LLC, a California limited liability company.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It also serves as our notice at collection for California residents.

If you have questions, contact us at hello@thefractioncollective.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in a contact form, email us or book a call, we collect what you choose to send, which typically includes your name, email address, company name, role and the content of your message. Contact form submissions are stored in our website database and sent to us by email. If you become a client, we also collect the information needed to run the engagement, such as billing details and project materials.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our hosting provider and Google Analytics record standard technical information: browser and device type, operating system, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages viewed, time on page, referring URL and similar usage data. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We collect this information through cookies, described in section 4.

Information from third parties. If you book a meeting through a scheduling tool embedded on the site, that provider shares your name, email and booking details with us. If you reach us through a social network or a referral, we may receive your details from that source.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the website, such as financial account numbers, government ID numbers or health information. Please do not send it through the site.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and communicate with you;
  • schedule and hold calls, workshops and meetings;
  • provide services to clients and manage those relationships;
  • understand how the site is used and improve it;
  • keep the site secure, prevent abuse and troubleshoot problems;
  • comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: keeping the site working, and understanding traffic and usage.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are visited and how people arrive at the site. It sets first-party cookies, including ones named _ga and _ga_*, that distinguish browsers and sessions. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own terms. You can read how Google handles data at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Scheduling. If you open a booking widget on the site, the scheduling provider sets its own cookies, which that provider controls.

Functional. Some cookies are needed for forms and basic site function to work correctly.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work. We do not use cookies to serve you targeted advertising across other websites.

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers. Companies that host the site, provide email, scheduling, analytics, and that process information on our behalf.
  • Legal requirements. Where we are required to disclose information by law, court order or a regulatory request, or where disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety or property.
  • Business transfer. If the business is sold, merged or restructured, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent. Where you have asked us to share it.

6. Your choices

Cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, as described in section 4.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • to know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
  • to request a copy of it;
  • to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
  • to ask us to delete information;
  • to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising;
  • to limit the use of sensitive personal information;
  • not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

California residents have these rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana, have comparable rights, which may also include the right to appeal a decision we make about a request.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not run targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide a clear way to opt out.

To make a request, email hello@thefractioncollective.com with enough detail for us to identify you and understand what you are asking for. We will verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming control of the email address you contacted us from. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.

We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to appeal, and you may contact your state attorney general.

8. How long we keep information

We keep enquiry information for as long as it is useful for the relationship, and we delete it on request. Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics account.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, including limiting access to those who need it and using reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending confidential or sensitive information through the website.

10. Children

The site is intended for businesses and their representatives. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Visitors outside the United States

The site is operated in the United States, and information is processed here. If you visit from another country, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

12. Third-party links

The site links to other websites and embeds third-party tools. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before providing information to them.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with a revised date. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
